PERFORM UNDER PRESSURE

Mental Strength

Confidence

It is becoming more challenging for kids to develop and maintain confidence. Student-athletes need to build the strongest belief in themselves and in their ability to thrive in high-pressure situations like try-outs, games, and tournaments. These same skills help them in school with academic challenges, test-taking, and social skills. Our mental strength training programs help students to overcome adversities in school, sports, and life.

Resilience
Perseverance

For too long, sport psychology services have been limited to professional/collegiate athletes or those who could afford them privately. This typically excludes young student-athletes who could actually be best served by working on their mental skills during their formative developmental years. Our mental coaching allows our athletes the unique opportunity to build the psychological skills necessary to perform their best when it matters most.

Mental Health

Our mental health counseling is blended with active fitness training to enhance the production and benefits of serotonin, dopamine, and other valuable neurotransmitters. We have found our method to be more effective than the traditional office setting in managing cases of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health conditions.

Athletes are almost always characterized as being strong, tough, enviable, and even flawless. The reality is that all athletes are human, and share the same capacity to struggle with thoughts and feelings as the rest of us. Given the intense pressures and adversities that come from both sport and school, student-athletes should always be open to getting some help managing their mental health.

“Being vulnerable is not a weakness—it’s a strength.”

"We should all take mental health seriously and do our best every day to make sure we’re talking care of it.

“I would urge every one of you to do those two things: Pay attention to your mental and physical health. If we’re not, we’re not giving ourselves the best chance”

Dak Prescott
Simone Biles

"Mental health is a huge issue and a real thing in our world right now, especially the world we live in where everything is viral and everyone is part of the media.[You] can get on social media and be overcome with emotions and thoughts of other people and allow that to fill in their head when things aren't necessarily true ... All those things create emotions and put things in your head about yourself or your situation in life that aren't true. I think it's huge to talk. I think it's huge to get help."

"I say put mental health first. Because if you don’t then you’re not going to enjoy your sport and you’re not going to succeed as much as you want to.
